Favourite Middle Eastern food in Melbourne! My go-to for lunch, breakfast or dinner. Every single dish is made to the highest quality. Their desserts are also phenomenal—I recommend trying their baklava, I swear it’s the best I’ve tried. They also have impeccable service—so genuine and friendly. Always a great experience.

I'd somehow never noticed this lovely little spot despite living in the area for a couple of years. A really nice atmosphere and nice food at a relatively low price. I'd say it's worth visiting if you're nearby.

Came here with 4 other family members. The food was very cheap compared to other shops. The quality of the food was amazing. This might actually be my new favourite place to eat at. The atmosphere was amazing and the workers greeted me with a warm welcoming when i first came in. They were really nice and made sure I got what I wanted.

Great lunch today at Sesame n Soul and the kaake didn’t disappoint! Having (me Ronny) been eating Lebanese for 7 years and Charlene being Lebanese we had a good idea, well her more than me, what good Lebanese baked goods and a bakery lunch should be like. The kaake was great and probably up there with some of the great ones we have had. Freshly baked, warm and crunchy. Fillings were chicken and toum, and labne and veggies. And of course we topped it with some za’atar. The za’atar was particularly good. Serving size is filling, so come hungry. No complaints about these two, and next time we will get the dessert kaake with knafeh and syrup. We got some coffee too, and the bloke knows how to make a good piccolo latte. Properly micro foamed and stretched milk, great coffee beans, silky smooth. Service was great but it was quiet when we went (after the lunch rush hour). Atmosphere was fine too. Overall a great spot for breakfast and lunch, the only downside are the items that are precooked and need to be reheated, but if you want some of the best kaake we have had be sure to check them out. Edit: came back today for lunch again and the food was even better than before. The kaak was fresh out of the oven with fillings that were flavour packed. Highly recommend you check this place out if you’re after a Lebanese lunch. While we waited for our food we got served some freshly baked mini kaak to wet our appetites. Seriously such a great lunch feed. On the way out we bought a few bags of kaak for home to make our peanut butter and jam sandwiches, Lebanese style.

Went there at the last hour, and not all the menu was available at that time, however, the only two from the staff treated us very well and provided Hummus as a compliment , and the food was very nice. A bit expensive tho. Tried traditional Lebanese breakfast and it was so good and fresh
